July 16th Notch Mountain hike

Sarah and I did a good hike up Notch mountain. It was good to get out of town (although only a few miles) to camp out and do a hike. Great weather. Good pics overlooking Holy Cross mountain.

We haven't done much motor biking this year. Problems getting friends to go with. Everyone is busy. Still some snow up in the mountains

June 18th Vail Pass ride

Sarah and I went on a road ride from Vail to Copper Mountain yesterday. We went super fast so we are super tired today. We took a few pictures at the top of the pass of some remaining snow. Plenty of it at the upper peaks and in the woods. (pictures are from a camera phone, so not the best)

Moto ride finds an old snomwobile propped up on tree

Dirk Johnson and I did a little moto bike ride the other day and came upon an old snowmobile propped up against a tree. Dirk tried to go for a ride.

Vail Snow June

Well, I woke up this morning (June 11th) to more snow once again. Click on the movie to check it out.

My voice sounds plugged up in the nose because of allergies from the Aspen Trees.

Rumor has it that Aspen Ski Mountain will open up the top 1/2 of their ski hill this coming weekend. We are sick of snow so we won't be going.
