News for our blog, sorry about the lack of updates

We tore Sludge's sled apart last month. Pretty nasty. The oil pump came off and burned her down back in April. No one's fault, but an expensive burn. $800 that is. We hope to get it freshened up sometime this Fall. Need to send the cylinders out to get them re-done, then buy brand new pistons. Quite the mess.

That is one scratched up piston

Grass is pretty high down by the trailers (back in June)

Starting up the sleds to get the Fuel stabilizer through the carbs (back in June)

Camping up on Red table mountain and dirt biking the next day, the white dots to the right (near the evergreens) are our targets for the rifle. A little target shooting.

Camping, with Maggie the dog looking for deer off the cliff

Hiking and hiding (in a tree stump) up in Rocky Mtn Park

Fresh snow on the upper peaks of Grays and Torreys (in late July).

In early August we went to Aspen for a weekend away. Did some mountain biking near Aspen. Hikers told us that Lance Armstrong was on the same trail about 30 minutes ahead of us. But we didn't catch up to him.

Nice singletrack (it was pretty muddy at this point)

Which way did Lance Armstrong go?

More pics from Rocky Mtn park, big elk, Sarah counted 85 elk in one area. I didn't believe Sarah and started counting. I stopped at 80 and replied, "you're probably right" (probably)
