New snow on Wed.On Tues Oct 21 we went up to Steamboat for a hike and a visit to the Strawberry natural hot-springs. Wonderful relaxing day, taking a break from a busy week. We even saw a couple of Elk. Then today on Wed. we woke up to about 3 inches of new snow. It is winter in Vail at the moment.
